Real Life Office Politics.
What if... One day... You are in a meeting. A group meeting. Its about the upcoming project that worth millions. The big boss a.k.a. the project leader was presenting his ideas on how the project should be run from the head to the tail end. After his presentation, he asked the floor for the opinion on what they thinks about his project idea. Put it this way, Allen is the project leader. Bruce is the newly hired project coordinator, a very ambitious young guy who's not afraid to voice out his opinion. The others are just "kelefe" a.k.a. supporting cast that don't really matter here. These kelefe are those elderly that are waiting to retire and want minimum or no problem along the way to retirement. Allen: So guys, what you think about MY idea?Chris: I think its wonderful! Don: It will surely have high return in a short period of time! Ervin: Boss, you are number 1 when it comes to profits! Frank: It will be the most successful project ever! Allen: Bruce, you are awfully quite. Anything you want to add in?Bruce: Well... Er...
Allen: Bruce, no worries. Just say what is in your mind. We are here to listen. Chris: Yes Bruce, share with us. Don: Come on young man, show us what you got. Ervin: No need to be afraid, just say what's in your mind. Frank: We want to listen to how young people thinks. Bruce: Okay... I think...
 So Bruce talks about how he feel about the Big Boss idea Bruce idea was totally different from what the Big Boss presented. Its basically the old fashioned safe approach and the more new daring approach. After about 30 mins... Bruce: That's what I think about this project.
Allen: Hmm, that was totally different than what I have presented earlier. What you guys think? Chris: Allen, its an absolutely different way to handle the project. Don: Its about the exact opposite of your idea. Ervin: He's just saying what he thinks about the project. Frank: Hmmm, its how the young man thinks. Bruce: Well, the market is changing and I think its best if we follow the trend.Allen: Okay guys... I need to be excused for a moment.
Thus, the big boss went out and left them in the meeting room. 5 minutes later... Allen: Bruce, this is for you. You may open it now.(passed Bruce an envelope)
Bruce: (Opened the envelope) WHAT?!?!?! I AM FIRED?!?!?! WHY?!!?!?
Allen: I can't accept a guy who is not a team player in my group.Bruce: Since when I am not a team player?
Allen: Since just now, when you start going against my idea.Bruce: I am just voicing out my opinion.
Allen: Correction. You criticise my idea. Not voicing out opinion.Bruce: This is outrageous.
Allen: So is you when you criticize my idea.
Bruce: I am merely suggesting a different approach! Chris: Bruce, you are criticizing him. Don: Yes Bruce, you are. Ervin: Bruce, you are clearly against him. Frank: Bruce, its so obvious you are not supporting the boss idea. Allen: Okay, that's it. Bruce, pack your stuffs and leave at once.
What kind of boss is this? So, the poor Bruce got fired for apparently going against his boss. But the truth is Bruce is just merely voicing out his opinion. He is just merely suggesting another way and he got fired for that. The big boss is simply too hardheaded to accept other people's idea. And the kelefe? Just a bunch of guys who follows blindly because they don't want too hassle for the few years left until their retirement age.
And for you guys that have the thinking that I am Bruce, too bad... I still need to get my ass up early in the morning and get ready for work tomorrow. I am just sharing this incident that really happened in real life. Details are confidential though.

Ice-skating at Kallang Leisure Park
Went to ice-skating today! Its about 5 years since I last touched any ice-skates... Seriously! And I thought I will be the one falling and trembling here and there. Lucky me, I am not the one. ^_^ Abit woobly when I first started... Still need to hug the surrounding to help me to move around. After about 20 minutes, I can fly on my own already. XD  Me, Nath, Niki and Fan Sad to say, thats the only pics I have. Since the others bring along their cameras. So I can only post more photos when I get it from them. Get to meet Nath's classmates today. A very lively and a happy bunch. ^_^
OH YA!!! One more damn important thing to tell you all... NATH FELL!!! SHE PK-ED!!! Sad to say, I don't have the post fell pic with me... Will blog bout it once I get it from the others. ^_^

Kids say the darndest things
Was casual chit-chatting with my colleagues during the lunch time. We covered a whole lot of topics ranging from PSP to electronic gadgets, foods to drinks, family to kids... etc etc... When we were in the kids topic, this particular colleague told us the joke of the day! What is that? Something like this, name has been changed of course. ^_^ AAA: You know... my son always take the purple brief for me whenever I am going to bath...BBB: Why? He likes the colour purple alot?Josh: OMG, u walk around your house in your brief only?  Purple Brief AAA: Not walk around in brief lar, siow... Guess why he picked the colour purple? BBB: He likes the colour purple so much? Josh: He likes the brief design? AAA: Guess again? BBB: Tell lar... Josh: Just say it out... AAA: He say when I wear the purple brief, I look like Barney...
Me and BBB was stunned for a moment there... And then we laughed so damn loud that the whole floor could hear us laughing! Imagine... the floor occupying about 80 staffs... Lucky there was only a few people left in the office since its still lunch time. Thank goodness...

So Alonso won the first F1 Night Race. Man... Raikkonen retired at the last last minute again... Sien to the max ler... What's more sien is Hamilton is leading the driver's standing. Argh... Why Kimi so unlucky...
 The full results Unlucky Ferrari... Didn't watch the race lar... I won't waste a few thousand bucks for 2hours plessure. Unless if I win the tix. XD

In less than 24 hours, the first ever F1 night race will be commencing. On Friday morning, it rained so hard that some places in Singapore got flooded. Damn ,I think all the rain dried up and there won't be any rain during the race itself... Was hoping that it will rain during race day to make the competition more... competitive. ^_^ Bear in mind that this is categorized as one of the two street circuit. The other one being the circuit in Monaco, where overtaking chances are very rare. The same goes to the Singapore circuit. So it is believe that whoever can take the pole position for the qualifying session, will eventually win the race. This is just in! The starting grid will be like this! Massa grabbing the pole position! Aw... Raikkonen at third...  The starting position So... Massa have the best chance to win the race I suppose? But I hope Raikkonen will wins the race. There's nothing more interesting then seeing someone else catch up and snatch the F1 driver title. ^_^

SIN! Super Import Night 2008!
Went with my cousin to the Singapore Import Night 2008 (SIN) event on Sunday! Did not sleep very early after the NNG & GCA events, thus was kinda wobbling on my way to SIN. By the way, SIN is SIN because they exhibits imported models from overseas. Before I proceed, let me tell you all I am a noob when it comes to car knowledge. I know the car's brand in general but not really about the details. For instance...  A range of lamborghinis Yap, I know these are lamborghini. BUT I have no idea which is murcielago, revento or gallardo. So that's how noob I am. Anyway, all the cars here in SIN are super damn nice lor. Would be a waste if didn't bring along my camera go. XD  If I am not mistaken, this is the interior of a Lamborghini Gallardo. Super damn nice le the car. Even though I have to pay $10 as the entrance fee, its worth it since I took almost 300 photos for the night. That makes... $0.03 per photo. XD  Ferrari! Ahaha, once again, I have no idea what model is this... Just snapped photos all the way since almost all of the cars look great! Argh... now I miss driving car...  Porshe Cayman! Okay lar, I cheated by taking the name plate. XD For each car, I covered the overview, the wheels, the back, whatever that stands out. And because of this, my camera's first battery died when I did not even covered half of the exhibiton.  Monster Garage! Monster Garage sounds so cool lor. Some more all the add ons are freking amazing. The car engine was dunno what bla bla bla d... Told you guys I am noob... Since I am short of battery, I snapped only a few overal shots for the remaining cars.  Drools lor...  Seriously drooling...  The Lotus family. ^_^  Some car butt for display. XD Haiyo, what makes me more envy is that these cars are owned by people here in Singapore. And all this cars don't come cheap. Usually starting from hundred thousands and above. Argh... When only can I afford to buy even half of the car? Okay... Another target in life is to get one of those car! ^_^  Camwhoring with the car. XD Photos courtesy from my cousin. What are you expecting? Models? Car models? Already posted mar... OOOOOOOOO.... You mean those show girls model... See, all of you are horny interested also. Frankly speaking, out of those 300photos, I think only around 20 of them are on show girls. See lar, I am not THAT horny afterall okay? I hardly get any import models pic... Maybe because I went for the last day lar...  Some of the clearer photos So, wherever there's show girls, there will be a group of horny guys gathered to take photos of them. Well, me being one of them. XD The show girl on the bottom right is from Thailand if I am not mistaken. All the others are locals. My humble opinion... Local model looks better. ^_^
 Mirage motors model Okay, I seriously have to admit that this is my first time exposure to Mirage Motors. I don't really own a car now... Guess thats why I am so not into it. But the model is hot though. XD I asked for a photo together with her while she was walking away to rest. I thought she would be too tired of all the photo snapping but turns out she still can smile sweetly! ^_^  Carlingual showgirl~ 1) Now, this is the last show girl I took photo with. Basically, all the horny guys were almost like lining up to take a photo with her. When it was my turn, she told me to "wait ah" while she uses the tinted car window to re-style her hair. XD 2) Was told by her that I can get a free mag when I fill in the form. So while I was talking to her my cousin did a candid shot of us. 3) My cousin continue snapping photo of her while i am filling in the form. See lar, some of the 20 photos are not even snapped by me okay? 4) Returned the form, and got my mag. Requested for 1 more photo since the first one was kinda blur when I checked back. In the end, turns out both are quite nice. ^_^ Ah... Spent some time witnessing some drifting action. Man, those guys really can perform well. Did not manage to take any photos since I am quite at the end of the pack and my lousy 5MP pics surely can't take any clear, far, night photos. Only managed to have my dinner at 12am... WTF right... But it was all worth it. XD Okay now, seriously ending this entry with my favourite photo of the night.  Very artistic in my opinion, thats why I like it. ^_^
